Bristol Mayor Marvin Rees’ Weekly BCfm Fireside Chat With CEO Pat Hart 27th January 2021

BCFM One braincell breakfarse show. 27.1.21

Just before 8am Tony Hart was moaning. Apparently Marvin Rees had sent him a text. What’s more it was critical of Hart for bulling Scarlet, a trainee, while on air.

Hypocritical from the start, Rees is consistant if not alot else.
It was only on this very show on 30th December, 2021 that Rees publicly live on air was rude and disrespectful to Sam, another trainee broadcaster.

Boss man Hart put his feet up and enjoyed the luxury of leaving the lovely Sam to graft while he took a Christmas break. This was appreciated by the listeners of the community radio at what can be a lonely time for many, particularly due to travel restrictions. Thought the show we were told mayor Marvin would be calling in. However he did not.

By the end of the show it was possible to hear the upset and disappointment in Sam’s voice as she was stood up live on air. Instead of enabling a trainee reporter get some valuable work experience. Paranoid Marvin was fearful of an encounter with an unknown journalist.

Whilst many others were working to keep the city running, this most pointless salaried spiv could not be even bothered to inform Sam he wouldn’t have a chat with her for half an hour. How ungallant can you get ?

So when Marvin comes on air today for ‘A chat with Pat’ its – did you see the Connor McGregor fight at the weekend ? No I did not see the Liverpool team get the same treatment as the Liverpool mayor by being shown up, defeated and being found unfit for purpose. I missed it all Pat – the kids were helping me with my study so I don’t lose another 50 mill with our municipal bank.

Pat, sticking to what he knows goes on, football, football football. Marvin says he’s not a good loser and reminds Pat he used to be a boxer.

Back to Connor McGregor, win or move quotes Marvin who says that rugby is too violent while letting it be known he’s been reading The Art of War and name dropping the boxing coaches he’ got through, jimmy Roebottom, Jimmy Hill and Larry.

Then Connor McGregor – Win or move in. Which Rees quoted. Gappling an striking. Rees likes the way he loses – will be attempting to replicate this in May, if not sooer.
He’s in the money game – just like me. Got to do what got to do. Patron of Empire cause I’m a great admirer of that buisness model – expansionism, superiority, benevolent tyranny, no fighting chance.

Hart – men and women as they grow up -drown in the channel.

Rees – self disipline. 13-14 sense of self but lets get back to talking about me again. I had very low self esteem as I was growing up. I am not good and I wasn’t a good either. Alway have a sense of loss of power, personality and charisma. Jewish, gypsies margins of life. I’ll evict them all mid winter or not, pandemic lockdown of not. Compared to rugby Rees feels boxing is not violent. Mixed martial arts (MMA),

Hart – I hit em hard them pick them up and take them to a nurse

Rees – well I got in the ring with Martin. I had steam coming from my no.se – like a raging bull. For 3 minutes I didn’t hit him once. One of my proudest moments – feeling his leather, then it was blood streaming from my nose. But I learnt not to lose my temper. I’ve got poorly paid security staff to do that for me now.

By now its 8.43 and what of Bristol ? Where ? asks the most pointless, salaried spiv in the city.

Reparation – it was OK. Good generals win before they go into battle. Bad ones lose because they’re still working it out during the battle. Do your work before contact. Absolute clarity.

Too much debating on Radio Bristol. Hart – well of course, they don’t like football and like to fan the flames. Its just entertainment more or less. Space to do that. Lock it down. Healthy discussion. That’s us.

Hart continues – today is Holocaust memorial day. Rees – African Genocide lasted longer. Reparations won’t get traction. Full barbarity needs recognising.

White evangelicals in the USA talk as though it was a blip. Patterns of migration still with us – in global north and in Africa. Current inequality and injustice. That’s why I have made the decision to leave Colston’s plinth there – just to rub it in. That and the Merchant Ventures told me to. Not good ? But what can you say ?

Hart moves swiftly on.

Zero emissions, 0 emissions hub. HGVs drop off goods then cargo bike. All about reducing fumes from HGVs in city centre. Marvin has got the bit between his teeth now -its just about making it work. Sorting out links for the bike-chain and hubs for the wheels.

Big Sudoku puzzle Pat, and to think they pay me for this (actually I tell someone else to do it after my two boys kept beating me at Risk).

Rees – I’m gonna change the way the city works. Starting with council employees. Move to legally minimal pay and no working conditions and forget safety measures wessex water, casual workers with chain saws all has my and my spiritual advisers blessings. As they are lowered into the ground.

Office workers – those that insist on turning up at the Council House to us my heating and electric well.

Hart – but parking charges have nearly doubled.

Rees – £1,000,000 has been raised for my next jolly. I’ve been in touch with broadcasters about it to smooth things over. I’ve told them to say that a very small number go up by 50p an hour because that’s the only increment the machines can cater for – honest ! Then after the first hour the increase will be 30p an hour. I’ve been slacking cause I’ve missed until now that there’d been no reviews since 2006.

Who knew !? ‘We’ could of kept all those public toilets open for the plebs after all. Ha ha ha.
Hart- It’s a lot for people who can’t afford it.

Rees- Tough. I actually lived in a house that ran out of money. Back about 1978-79 maybe. Anyway that’s what I was told.

Hart – BUT I’M A CAR DRIVER !!

Well if you can’t get yourself a chauffeur then it’s public transport innit ! Aspirations. You gotta ave em Pat.

We going to do delivery on mass transport Kye (Dudd) and me. More gas fired buses. More bus lanes more Metro bus. Just need more passengers now. So we gotta dig holes. Deter those pesky cyclists. A big hit through Covid. User numbers been dropping. Additional challenge is rental bikes and scooters. Lots of options to fill council coffers.

Hart- Bristol 24/7 good artificial on mayoral electoral system. What did you make of it ?

Rees-I don’t read the gutter press. It was probably (pick a name ;oD) trolling me.

Petulant Rees sobs on – how little people understand me. Croydon has problems. Who failed housing, transport ? NO. Not me -I told you. Croydon.

( Rees’ ego really coming to the front now)

I’m visible, I’m accountable. And I may be sharing a cell with that mayor from Liverpool. But journalists need to be smart to unravel the fraud, corruption and cronyism.

Engagement in shopping city. Avon Wild Life Trust – luv that Badger motif.

(key word brain washing section), race, equality, women, disabled, shopping city.

Councillors having bun fights with councillors. Got em from the food bank, give em to school kids after. No (Bristol) Waste talk here here. Transfer of staff.

Been reading Obama’s book. I’m presently trying to memorise this line, ‘equality sounds like exclusion to the privileged class’

Rees- I reserve my views on the arts council -alien to me. I leave all that luvy stuff to (Asher Craig).

Rees- Elections. We’ll press ahead for me, and see what government say.

Covid stats. 381 in 100,000 Bristol is coming down. Schemes for people shielding – so says Rees the grease.

5% RISE IN BRISTOL COUNCIL TAX. Depressed, demoralised, all perfectly normal now pay up. There is a support (clothes/escape/cocaine/plimsol) line if in difficulties, but the PAY UP.

And so Rees churns on -Parks very busy at the weekend. We want sheeple to exercise/forage for food/seek signs of other life forms BUT DO IT WITH CONCERN OF BEING FINED £200 because we want people to stay at home enduring domestic violence or working AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

OBEY !

Hart (now looking with loving admiration at a photo of his glorious leader) repeats the mantra like a good employee

WORK, SHOPPING, EXERCISE ONCE A DAY IN LOCAL AREA, MEDICAL

To eat up air time its fecking football – it’s just not cricket.

Finally after Rees has ended the call you hear Pat Hart complaining,

‘When I ask a question, Marvin changes the subject – but it is good to get half an hour kissing his ring.’

Bet if Sam was the interviewer she would of either returned to the question or rephrased it and not let Rees get away with his pre-rehearsed brainwashing, distracting propaganda.
